Report a Road Incident

Your report helps other travelers make safer decisions. Please keep reports factual, non-graphic, and avoid personal/private information.

How Reporting Works

SafeTrip Nigeria collects community road-safety reports for public awareness and trip planning. Reports can include accidents, traffic congestion, bad roads, flooding, road blockages, vehicle breakdowns, and security concerns. This information is intended to help road users prepare and make safer travel choices.

Privacy-first: Do not submit names, phone numbers, vehicle plate numbers, or private details. Keep descriptions short and factual. Avoid graphic content.

Authenticity meaning

  • Genuine (confirmed): you are confident the situation is true at the time of reporting.
  • Witnessed personally: you saw it yourself.
  • Rumor / Unconfirmed: you heard about it but cannot verify.

Good report example

  • From → To: Birnin Kebbi → Jega
  • Location: near XYZ junction / nearest LGA
  • Type: Traffic congestion
  • Description: “Heavy traffic around the junction; slow movement. Consider extra time.”

Moderation note: SafeTrip may remove reports that include personal data, hate speech, spam, scams, graphic descriptions, or content that is not road-safety related. For urgent emergencies, contact official emergency services in your area.
